North Shore certainly is the better option than Geelong. At least the train
won't have to be towed out of Geelong to continue its journey. Not sure
about a platform THAT short. Multiple passenger stops waste time. I just
hope they supplement this with a courtesy bus from Geelong station.

An even better option would have been Corio. It is a little further out of
Geelong BUT it is attended which would be helpful for ticketing and check
luggage etc. Also, there is a huge paddock on the standard gauge side of the
line where a carpark and bus interchange could have been built.

It will be interesting to see how much usage the North Shore platform gets.
BTW, sorry Mr. Dalton for stealing your thunder.
