SEC 'F' class question

What was the paint scheme on these locos when delivered?

AIUI VRs ten were painted Black with red buffer beams (nine locos and
red with a yellow stripe (one loco). The black locos were all
repainted red with yellow stripe. Later they werepainted Blue and
gold.

SEC locos MAY have been larch green. Later they (it?) were/was blue
with yellow stripe (slightly different to VR's).

I am particularly interested in the early history of SEC 4 which
became F212.
