I really wish I could help but 99% of the stuff I accumulated for my VR diesel
book that never eventuted is still in Melbourne. I think I can make a phone
call though and get most of what you need. I feel bad because you have always
answered my questions so promptly.

The F's were never big on my list of favorites so I didn't remember much of
what I dug up in my research. 

I think all were originally painted red with yellow stripes. I've never heard
that they were once black! You aren't thinking about the black loco's are you,
(VR's E class)
