NR41 is still within the confines of the Broadmeadow plant still sitting on
blocks sans bogies. It has been like this for well over 10 months. It and
NR47 collided with 8001 at Acacia Ridge in October 1997. 8001 was of course
written off and now resides at the front of the "scrapline" at DELEC.  On a
slight different note, 8002 suffered a similar fate from a collision  at
Acacia ridge approx 18 months ago, if not more. It is still (as of 2 weeks
ago) in residence at Acacia Ridge. I have on idea what's going on with this
unit, but I bet they have forgotten about it.
