I happen to agree with Mark, David P.

As you note, Australian courts do accept US court rulings as precedent when
there is no supervening consideration - which is of course, rare.

Relevance is in the eyes of the recipient - and clearly there are more who
think the original posting was worthwile than have said they don't. On a
straw poll, it's relevant.

That said, your opinion is valued - and I hope you will continue to be
watchful and share your observations with others of similar interests.

That WC's UK subsidiary is getting investment funds is relevant - it tells
us that the company (a) has funds to invest and (b) assures us that it does
and will when the market conditions it sees as necessary are met. Thus, we
can have some hope that WC owned operations in Australia will not be
political back-door closures.
