Yes.
I bought it on the 1st of March (Sunday) and first Validated it on the Monday
(2nd) so it went till the 1st of April.
I will get a refund of the portion of the ticket back. So I used 11/31 days So
I think that I get back 20/31 of the $62 I paid.
So it will work out I will save about $2 for the 5 weeks and 4 days I travel
till Easter
(One Monthly + 12 days (at Monthly price) + one 2 hour ticket, as posed to one
monthly + one weekly + 4 dailies)

When University firsts started none, But now there is about 1/2 the tram
validating. Maybe less when the tram is full. I think other people do it
because everyone else does. Now even people buy tickets from the machines, some
wait till a W class comes because they want a daily or have a $5 note.
The day I lost my ticket I caught a W class tram. The conductor didn't bother
checking tickets till after La Trobe St.
Maybe they should install one of those big station validates at "Melbourne
University Terminus"
