That's a hard question. Maybe the answer is intelligence and hard work. Why
did trackfast fail in NSW? Trackfast's idea of marketing aggression is to
tell people rail is environmentally friendly. Wow what marketing
brilliance!!!! As if most companies really give a.....

And furthermore, some people were discussing the pro's and con's of
standardisation of some of Victoria's BG. There are a number of old boarder
transfer points between NSW and Vic which could be used for cross border
activity if all the track was SG, and I emphasise the "S" for "Standard".
Why does Austrac have to run via Albury to Melbourne if a better route if
via Tocomal (I think the name is spelt wrong, but the place starts with a
T), or Deneliquin (same again).

Moree is another example. QR wants to convert some SG to NG. This is an
absolute farce. It should be the other way around, NG to SG. QR is just a
government fund injected little pretentious parasite living off government
subsidies and a captured market. QR needs to get a life. All new freight
track in Australia being built should be to double stack standard gauge.
Aren't we trying to get rid of the gauge problem, not promote it.
