A preview appeared in one of the weekend papers of a new movie ("The
Man on Platform 9" (?), based on a book, being a re-write of
Pygmalian/My Fair Lady in which someone attempts to turn a
train-spotter into a human being. Sounds like a silk purse into a
sows ear to me.
