Its a bit differant to go from 3'6 to 5'3 .
You have to replace all the sleepers so its a lot more expensive than going 
the other way when you simply have to move a rail inwards.
Any idea how much per km reguaging costs, ie just moving the line in.
Barclay Mowlem have a machine that can do this with about 4 people .
Averages about 1 km/h so it wouldnt take a heap of time to do the reguaging.
The complex problem would be who should pay for it,given that ASR dont 
actually own the track itself, its only on a peppercorn lease from the SA 
Govt,who by rights should foot the bill,but wont want to.
