EMD sent only one locomotive by air. The rest of the order was routed
by rail/ship. The reason the first one went by air was a marketing
stunt for the airlift company, (Air Foyle) and as well the first
locomotive was a bit late in delivery.

The aircraft was an Antonov 124. Air Foyle is a British company that is
marketing the services of these Ukranian planes, which are the largest
aircraft in the world, other than the one Antonov 225 that carried the
Soviet version of the space shuttle.
