Re: Overdue Overdue

The present two sg trains (actually still three in the day each way) are not to and from
the same city. In the past the bg Adelaide connected with the sg Sydney train at Sunshine
or Spencer Street. Now unless they use both sg platforms, the sg Adelaide and the sg Sydney
train cannot connect because Spencer Street is the only place, now that the Overdue is
forced to followed the circuitous sg route through Geelong instead of a more direct route
via Ballan.
It matters little what you think about the Cressy route it will never be better than via
Ballarat because of its circuituous route. Contrary to NRC arguements, Geelong has never
and does not look like in the forseeable future to be served by the sg.
