In Qld there is no automatic reclosing of traction CBs, and AFAIK no other
railway in Australia does it either. There is human instigation of a
reclose.

An Electric Control Operator in Qld will quickly reclose after enquiring
with Train Control and any known work parties on site. If the CB opens
again, the circuit is locked out, and an overhead crew sent out to inspect.

If the CB holds on the first reclose, the cause may be unexplained. On
electric railways there is a much higher quantity of CB openings than in a
power distribution system.
