Further to an earlier post I made, the respective lifetime kilometres
covered of WCR locomotives as at 19/8/97 was

S300	6,753,537 (celebrated it's 40th birthday on this date)
S302	6,643,964
S311	5,522,475

B61	6,488,056 (celebrated it's 45th birthday the day before!, hence 	had
covered 6,487,255 as at 18/8/97)
B76	5,804,789

The S's were certainly worked hard by the VR - the's B's had a 5 year
head start, yet the S's have run the bigger mileages.  

In WCR service, locomotives had run
S300	321,535
S302	231,768
S311	284,344
B61	191,925
B76	54,257

total of justa tick under 1.1 million kms.  And there's plenty more to
come!  Long live the mighty GM's!
