For a start, there are clearance problems for NRs between Sydney and
Lithgow (Springwood?). Parkes is also a hub for NR rail movements, and the
start of double stacking. Freights originate/terminate/shunt/reverse
there. NR still have some leased 81s of which a pair could be used between
Sydney and Parkes via Lithgow, then a single NR to Adelaide.
