Melb's ATMs

Does anyone know what's happening about the ATM contract in Melb? Even
though the contract deadline date has passed, none of the ATMs installed
at nearby local stations are working yet (they have been there for several
weeks now, and a few for several months). I suppose the government is
going to stuff around for another year or two....
