And who is Oberg? a newspaper photographer that has written a few
minimally researched picture books on Australian loco's, hardly an
authority!

AMRM, anyone who has read it a while, (20 years in my case) knows of their
history distorting habit of inventing classifications, nothing wrong with
this of course if it helps modelers understand things better but it is not
to be confused with actual "history".

Quote some official documents where this F, S and L designation is used, I
certainly can't find it in any of my CR stuff.
