There no way that line can be put back in unless someone is going to
spend at lot of money. The road has been straighten in several
places and lowered leaving the trackbed hight and dry plus you will
have to fight the Rail to Trail people as well. The Cheviot Tunnel
still has the rails layed, Mansfield Station has several section still
in place as for rest it all gone. Around Cheviot you can drive along
the track bed and if you are game drive through the tunnel.
If any section that could be put back in it would be the Yea to
Alexandra section
