Are you serious? Reinstating the line from Yea to Alexandra would involve
replacement of substantial bridges over the Yea and Goulburn Rivers and
their associated flood plains! There is no chance at all of restoring that
section of line for a preserved railway.

You could always go fishing at the points where the line crossed those
rivers, they are amongst Victoria's premier trout fishing streams. You could
dream of trains past whilst waiting for a bite. Be careful of what you
dangle! :0)
