Re: [QLD] interchange times at park road

Off-peak all-stations Beenleigh to South Brisbane is 51 minutes, express it is
36 minutes, that is 15 minutes slower (using the 6/98 & 9/00 TT I have).

If we take the all-stations trains as running at 30 minute headways and
leaving Beenleigh at 00' and 30' past the hour (assuming a Gold Coast service
can close up within 2 minutes of the preceding all-stations service at South
Brisbane, or leave 2 minutes before the following all-stations service ex
Beenleigh) then a Gold Coast train can leave Beenleigh between 17 minutes and
28 minutes past the hour, an 11 minutes window, without being slowed by the
preceding all-stations service.

Couple this with the opportunity to run each Gold Coast train (from one
direction only) on the 3rd track from Coopers Plains (? or thereabouts) to
South Brisbane and there is considerably more flexibility.

Peak hour is harder because of the need to significantly better 30 minute
all-stations headways in the peak direction. And the up XPT (Sydney up that
is) just adds spice in the am.
