Since the question was loosely worded, wouldn't the "steepest section of
track" (standard gauge too) be Skitube? Thats about 1 in 8. A very
interesting ride too, especially in summer, but BLOODY expensive - $25 an
adult in low season. Thats more than $2.50/km. Bet Cityrail wishes they
could have crowds of people lined up to catch their trains at that rate!
