Re: [Melb] Odd ticket

The bus driver takes your money and then keys in the info, and the passenger
puts it in the validator to print the details on it. If it doesn't print,
the driver can pocket the money as the ticket hasn't been issued. Sometimes
the validator misfunctions fully printing the ticket, but printing out a
failed to issue slip. Again the bus driver can pocket the cash. A driver
with a faulty validator on his regular bus can make a lot of money in weeks
before the faulty validator is repaired (if someone reports it!)
