Pathetic really. Even a three year old could manage to work out that we are 
talking about guards and not automated ticketing here. For the record, I am 
all for the lack of guards in Victoria as well as NSW. I am all for 
automated ticketing as well, as long as it's implemented better than 
Metcard, and with the provision of conductors on trams, and staff on a 
higher number of stations - as is NSW's way of implementing automated 
ticketing.
