[OT] Coach (eek) travel times

I know this is off-topic in aus.rail, but perhaps someone can help - I gavce
up after sitting on hold for 40 mins to Greyhound and 45 mins to
McCafferty's.

Anyone have any idea of a quick run from Longreach to Alice Springs? The
Spirit of the Outback arrives in Longreach at 1758 on a Wednesday evening,
and Tha Ghan leaves Alice Springs at 1300 on Friday. I figure this is just
enough time to bus it from Longreach to Mt. Isa, across to Tennant Creek,
then down to Alice Springs.

Anyone who actually has the paper version fo the timetables able to provide
any info?
