Had a ride in the front seat of a DLR tram a few years back. A sign on the
lid covering the driving controls, (can't remember the wording) something
about vacate seat if requested by driver. The front windscreen was filthy,
typical for vehicles sent through wash plants, happens here in Sydney with
trains and trams, nobody bothers to clean the ends of the vehicles.
