Thanks for the very good explanation Peter.
Your comment that the ELs are a very popular loco is interesting as 
initially they were offered to NRC for free and were rejected.
Maybe its time that CFCLA asked Goninans to build some more.
You could make a very good freight loco by dropping the narrow guage
traction motors and putting in the bigger 752 AG motors.
