Re: Ararat rail return at a crucial stage



The solution is obvious. Build the Melbourne-Ballarat fast train link in
standard gauge and reopen the Ballarat-Ararat line in upgraded standard
gauge as well. The new fast train rolling stock should be SG and the current
stock used for the Ballarat line could be converted to SG for use through to
Horsham etc.
