I don't know about Berala/Regent's Park, but they way it's been shut
down really does minimise problems.

Also keep everything that runs via East Hills run through the Airport
line as well (except Endeavour/Xplorer/XPT--during the games they don't
stop at Strathfield so they run via EHS).

The only thing to lose is the Olympic Park trains every 3/6 min at
Strathfield!

Burwood is seriously crippled in terms of trains to the City with this
timetable. Make sure it gets an extra stop by a western train or the
fast north sububan. (although i don't live there anymore, it is a major
regional centre now with Westfield).

I love the 4-min headways as well. They actually do work and it works
beautifully. This must be kept--even if it means diverting some fast
west trains to City Outer or even terminating (as some already are) at
Sydney Terminal (as i *feel* that Sydney Terminal is somewhat
underutilised--whether it is or not, please give some factual
information)
