Except that there are no convenient north-south roads between Alamein and
Waverley Rd.  But you can still make out the old formation most of the way -
how about a heavy/light rail service along that route?  Admittedly a tram
deviating via Chadstone Rd / Poath Rd would probably be more convenient for
all the Chaddie shoppers.
