Funny you should mention that Rod. A mate and I go north about 3-4 times
a year and on passing into NSW look at the welcoming sign and say 
"Welcome to NSW - begin roadworks" and on returning "Welcome to Victoria
- End roadworks". 

And every time the Olympic Way never lets us down with regard to road
works. Also the Wallendbeen - Binalong Road.
