Perth peak suburbans have a good practice.
One train express first half of route and all stations the second half.
Next train all stations the first half and express the second half.
There are a couple of key stations in each section they all stop at. And
express means express - Don't know what speed they are doing but must be
100k and maybe plus - and ride real smooth to boot!
Longer lines in Melb may need different express proportions due passenger
profiles, say only 1/3 of section all stations.
