One of many electrifications that should be done soonish.

Oil, and hence diesel, is only going to get more and more scarce and
expensive over the next few years. Rail already uses less of it cf.
road, but electrification solves the problem.

Anyone know anything about trains that run on natural gas? ANy work
being done on hydrogen locos?
