I think you may find the "L" class from Westrail may be used on ATN grain
contracts in Victoria. There were, last time I looked,still some "L"s out
side the clock at Forrestfield. Last I heard, now a month ago, the "L" class
were on their way to South Australia being prepared for use by ATN.
Just think, a couple of years ago there were a heap of ex-NSW loco's sold
for scrap and overseas. Now we have a desperate shortage on loco's in the
country. Sure do make you wonder.
