furthering on my previous message on what the DSR&M pay for steam &
diesel locos, what is the going price nowdays for a 48 class loco
(Dorrigo paid $10,000). Dorrigo seem to have set the base price for a
small std gauge tank loco at $10,000 (a very worn out one at that). They
paid $50,000 for 6042 (a bargin) but nowdays that would be about
$70,000.
What would be the price for a SMR 10 class?
Going further, any ideas on prices for narrow gauge locos, both steam
and diesel?
