I have read in two separate dead-tree publications that the extension to the 109
tram route is under construction. But no, not the one to Box Hill that we've
all been on about - this one's at the other end. These August publications
claim that trams will be extended onto Station Pier (Port Melbourne) in July. I
haven't heard this mentioned here nor anywhere official. Is this just crap or
has anyone seen construction underway?
