Interesting thing in the timetable: Dimboola/Ararat-Melbourne timing is
quite competitive with V/line. Ghan running express between Adelaide
and Melbourne, I'm not sure if this is true as Ghan should be able to
pick up passengers from North Shore Geelong. Ghan now listed along with
Overland to make easy reading. Overland still needs 1 hour and 18
minutes between Geelong and Melbourne despite none stop running. There
is room for improvement as Overland speed is almost snail liked between
Werribee and Melbourne(less then 40kph), surely  they can easily slash
to 10 hours flat by a bit of acceleration between these 2 section???
