Goninan will be putting the new engines in the XPs. First one should go in
next month. It will take a bit longer for the first one as interfacing
problems are sorted out.
Alstom has formed a joint venture with RSA at Chullora. They bid for the
XP engines, but failed. Alstom now owns Paxman. The joint venture suggests
RSA may have some role in the construction of the VHST, possibly providing
construction trains for Leighton.
