**I agree - the doors on the Melbourne Suburban Trains I been in is all
manual which I found it unecessary on suburban runs (it is ok if there is
less passengers riding on the train or if the train is an express service).
Some of the passengers even complained that the V-set door can be difficult
to open from the inside.

**By the way has anyone ever press the G-set Tangara green button to open
the door from the outside as well as the inside??? Does the CityRail guard
now control the opening of the G-set doors completely in the short
interurban runs???

**Vinyl seats in set T29 does remind me of the C-sets - is it feasible to
replace the current fixed seats into reversable seats in T-set Tangaras?

**About the creaks and groans, it happen on the Tangara T-sets as well as
the G-sets - any idea where the problem coming from??? Is it related to the
fatigue of the bogies (as publicised over the years)???

***Thanks Michael for the info - it did help... I may even consider creating
a short Tangara Page to put the bad points as well as good points!

Cheers.
