The End of BG to Bandiana

To night on our news there was a representative of the Wodonga Council
saying that they had government approval to remove the disused BG
section between Wodonga and where it meets up with the SG allowing the
upgrading of Jack Hore place to be an extension of Elgin st. He also
stated that this would be the start of the complete removal of the
railway line out of the central of Wodonga to allow redevelopment of the
station and surround's this depending on federal funding. Across the
river the Fed's are funding an internal bypass to run parallel with the
railway all the way through Albury. One side want to remove a railway
from town the other side place a freeway close to the centre of the
town. Absolutely wonderful transport planing on both sides don't think
so
