I have noticed three different designs for Comeng converted and normal
driving trailers. Dome have the guards compartment window, the guard's
door, and the tiny passenger window behind the partition. But others don't
have the guards door, and still others don't have the guards door or tiny
passenger window. Can someone please enlighten regarding set numbers,
series, etc.?
btw, only the types with guards door and tiny passenger window have been
left as driving trailers. All the other kinds have been city deckered and
renumbered with a T number, retaining the 40xx number. Are the current
D40xx's used anymore? , or just in L sets?
ps. These are different from the D409x K set driving trailers used to make
2-car K sets.
