Not "Speed signals", Ross. Their proper name is a "Dynamic Speed
Indicator".It is regarded as a supplementary signalling device to "warn" the
driver of the speed required at the next signal. The actual signal system
itself is unaltered - i.e. Route signalling. DSI's are only found on certain
signals, not all signals.
