Folks,
How is it communicated to the stations in the city circle how many cars
there are in the approaching run?. I would think it is by timetable /
composition list ? Anyway, on a service on the inner west, the 17:12 from
Town Hall, the monitor always says it's an 8 car set but it invariably ends
up being a 6 car C Set of late which causes heaps of scrambling from
everyone waiting at the front of the platform....not good with the narrow
platforms.
Is it a replacement set or do all C sets run as 6 cars because the 08:22
from Newtown is also a 6 car set which is always packed and running late.
Thanks,
Rob
