My train home was delayed this evening too. 1800 Lithgow train departed
Sydney Terminal on time, but was held up signal delays near Petersham/
Lewisham. That caused us to arrive at Strathfield 8 late (1820).
A relatively smooth run from then on. At Granville, it was announced on
the platform and on the train, that this was a Lithgow service and not
a Richmond one.
We arrived at Penrith at 1857 (11 late).
