GSR to Darwin, latest.

Heard on local ABC up here a spokesman for GSR saying
that their service to Darwin will be called the GHAN.
They will not be looking for another name because the
train is world renowned and changing the name would be
commercial suicide.

GSR plan to run two services per week for 9 months of
the year with one service for the remaining 3 months.
In answer to a question that the stations for Tennant
Creek and Katherine will be outside the towns, they are
planning a 4 hour stopover in Katherine to see local
sights.  There was no mention that the train will also
stop, well outside of Darwin City.
