Hi,
does anyone know if there has been a descriptive history / lineside
guide book written about the railway from Geelong to Warrnambool and
Port Fairy?
The ARHS has produced a number of similar books over the years, such
as:
Timber, Spuds and Spa (Carlesrue-Daylesford-Creswick)
Cross Country (Colac-Newtown-Ballarat and Newtown-Skipton)
Mirboo North
Ballarat-Ararat
The north east mainline was more completely covered in 'Six and a half
inches from destiny' by Keith Turton, who also wrote a book about
Ararat-Portland (this last one I don't have a copy of).
Thanks,
David A.
