Hang on, Burwood doesn't currently get 16 trains/hour in the off peak.
It gets 16/hour each direction during the peak, and eight in the off
peak (two of which are all stops to the city).
Perhaps you were adding the trains in each direction together. The
olympic timetable summary doesn't do that.
The off peak timetable for Burwood remains at 8/hour during the
olympics.

Yes, Burwood will lose all four of the all stations trains in peak hour.
All of the all stations trains will be terminating at Ashfield. Which
means that people that want to catch a train from anwywhere between
Newtown and Summer Hill to Olumpic park will have to change trains
twice, at Ashfield and then Strathfield. Or alternatively, they could
travel inwards to Redfern, then back out to Olympic Park.
