Re: [NSW] New gadget seen at Town Hall



While nothing really to do with this newsgroup, P&O have been using
rechargeable "smart cards" on board the old Fairstar and now the Fair
Princess for at least 6 years. They do not take cash anywhere on-board
(except the casino of course). Cash is added to the card at the purser's
office. A very good and efficient system. As far as I know, Australia is the
only place P&O use this system.
