Re: R700 and 3 T's to Ballarat 30/1/00



If the speed restriction is 40kph then why are the high speed cars being
used?!?!?!? This looks like a good trip apart from this. The two R's to
ballarat tour was the ideal trip for full speed cars, not this one. In fact,
trips behind diesel locos in wooden cars are extremly rare these days and we
had a high speed run behind two T's (yes I know this trip is 3!) on the last
trip. Wouldn't it be better to advertise it as a tour with wooden cars? I
know I would be more likely to go on it then. This trip is basically a slow
version of the last one.
