They wouldn't be worth preserving. If I remeber correctly, didn't the
BPL have an air-conditioner sticking out the end of it? There are other
carriages out there that are in better condition and are far more
significant and appropriate for preservation. It would be far better
giving the V cars a much needed overhaul. When I saw them in May, they
badly needed a coat of paint.
