Re: What to do in Sydney?

Lets see:

Mon - Fri
6:00am Nambour - Robina exp. Cab - B'Hills stopping at Petrie and N'gate

5:09pm Roma St - Nambour exp. B'Hills - Elimbah stopping at E'Junct,
N'gate and Petrie, and Cab to Pick up only.

9:23pm Roma St - Nambour exp. B'Hills - Cab stopping at E'Junct, N'gate
and Petrie.

Sat

5:58am Nambour - Roma St exp. Cab - B'Hills stopping at Petrie and
N'gate

Sun

Caboolture - Nambour - Caboolture Shuttle.

All these are IMU services. I always thought there were more but
according to the current timetable these are the only ones. Most other
services are operated by ICE (Intercity Express) which may not be as
fast as an IMU (120km/h max on ICE, 140km/h max on IMU) but the line
isn't capable of those speed anyway. Especially north of Landsborough
there a number of sharp curves. ICE offers a far smoother ride with
reversable comfy seats, and blinds on the windows. Very nice ride and
very quiet.

If only they'd duplicate the line and cut a few of the curves out
(Eudlo has the worst) and increase the frequency. Reckon if they could
do a Nambour - Roma Street run in 70/75 minutes the patronage would
improve.

Cheers,
Michael
