The Sydney Tramway Museum is alongside Loftus CityRail station and is open:
Sundays & Public Holidays
10.00a.m. until 5.00p.m.
(Closed on Christmas Day)
Wednesdays
9.30a.m. until 3.30p.m.
Last entry one hour before closeure
Entry fee covers: Museum display hall admission, unlimited tram rides
(Museum line & RNP line) plus souvenir & book shop, kiosk and picnic area.
Trams from Home and Abroad: As well as Sydney trams, the Museum has a
selection of electric trams from Brisbane, Ballarat, Melbourne, San
Francisco, Nagasaki, Berlin and Munich. A talking tram from Bendigo is on
loan.
If I'm there say G'Day, but when I'm at the office it's the cab of a Metro
Light Rail tram, again say G'Day.
